Sea & Shop - Thursday, 9th June 2005

As a new venture for Emsworth the Emsworth Business Association is  organising a late night opening event on Thursday 9th June 2005.


Many retailers are took part  using. a nautical theme linked to the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar and the death of Admiral Lord Nelson. As you know this is the inspiration for one of the biggest ever international maritime festivals and a host of remarkable events taking place during the summer and autumn of 2005 all over the UK. Emsworth was one of the first villages to launch its celebrations with this special evening.

Highlights will included special events in many of the local pubs, restaurants, cafes and hotels, as well as commemorative music and other entertainment. We  also  involved our local school children, as well as late night shopping.
